After reading this sentence, I wanted to make a series of photographs hired to denounce this practice.
Indeed, it is far too present in 2016 and it is not very denounced.
In these images, white flowers represent purity and fragility of the affected girls and found a significant element of the wedding forced into the shadows, a piece of white veil, an alliance, the Indian bindi and pen broken into both because these girls have, in most cases, no access to school. The glass is cracked, as these girls because of these unwanted marriages. The atmosphere of photography is calm, quiet, beautiful but it hides a symbolic hard. This is the reality, the wedding is seen as a happy event but for these girls it turns into unhappiness.
